Job summary

Anchor Group Services is recruiting a Security Officer to join the team based at Fiddlers Ferry Power Station in Warrington. The role covers night shifts (18:00–06:00) on a 4-on/4-off 12-hour pattern, averaging 42 hours per week, with a pay rate of £13.45 per hour.

A full UK driving licence and valid SIA licence are essential. You will patrol the site with an on-site company vehicle, control access at the gatehouse, and maintain accurate records while upholding security standards.

Qualifications

• Essential: Frontline SIA licence (DS or SG).
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience in customer service and handling conflict effectively.
• Flexible to meet job requirements and shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular vehicle patrols and gatehouse duties.
• Monitor site activity and respond to incidents promptly.
• Maintain records per procedures and liaise with visitors/site management.
• Provide professional, friendly service to customers and visitors.
