Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting a hands-on Team Leader for a busy commercial cooking and food production site in Stoke-on-Trent. You will lead a production team on the factory floor, set up and operate cooking and production machinery, and drive output while maintaining food safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, attendance coaching, and a focus on continuous improvement. Hours are 10pm–6am, Sunday to Thursday, with an alternative 2pm–10pm shift Monday to Friday as

Job description

The Best Connection Group Ltd are currently recruiting a hands-on Team Leader to oversee daily operations within a fast-paced commercial cooking and food production environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a production team, ensuring food safety and quality standards are maintained, achieving production targets, and setting up and operating cooking and production machinery.

This role requires a strong leader who is comfortable working on the factory floor, managing people, and taking ownership of production performance, equipment operation, and continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities;

• Machinery set up & Operation.
• Ensuring food safety & Quality.
• Ensuring all health & safety guidance is followed.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading/supervising teams. To include, productivity, attendance management and coaching and training.

Qualifications in foods safety is desirable but not essential.

Hours of work will be 10pm-6am

Sunday to Thursday.
