JDR Recruitment are working with a leading distribution client in Wisbech to recruit experienced Counterbalance FLT Drivers to join their team. The role includes warehouse duties alongside FLT operation and offers an immediate start with a temp-to-perm pathway after 12 weeks, pending performance.

Shifts run Sun–Thurs, 7pm–3am, in a temperature-controlled environment. PPE is provided, and transport may be required due to location. Prev. warehousing and MHE experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ experience operating MHE including FLT Counterbalance.
• RTITB or ITSAAR certificate preferred.
• Experience in warehousing and material handling advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Operate FLT Counterbalance safely to move stock around the warehouse.
• Load/unload vehicles and handle heavy stock up to 25kg.
• Pick and pack orders for despatch and maintain stock records.
• Carry out stock replenishment and general warehouse duties.

• £14.86 - £21.39 per hour, paid weekly

JDR Recruitment are working in partnership with our leading distribution client based in Wisbech to recruit for a number of experienced Counterbalance FLT Drivers to join their team in Wisbech.

This is not a purely FLT role - candidates will be expected to carry out warehousing duties alongside their FLT role. The role is an immediate start and is a temp to perm assignment with the opportunity to go perm following 12 weeks in post, subject to performance, conduct and attendance.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for moving stock around the warehouse safely using MHE such as FLT Counterbalance, PPTs and pump trucks
• Loading and unloading vehicles, moving heavy stock of up to 25kg
• Picking and packing orders, ready for despatch
• Carrying out stock replenishment, and handling goods safely and efficiently.
• Duties also include receiving and dispatching pallets, maintaining hygiene standards, completing clerical tasks (e.g. data entry, stock records), and supporting general site maintenance.

Please Note: these roles are working within a temperature controlled, chilled / cold store environment. Full PPE is provided.

Previous Experience

We are seeking candidates with previous warehousing and FLT experience, who are not afraid to get stuck in and be a team player.

Candidates will ideally have a minimum of 6 months' experience of operating MHE including FLT Counterbalance, and will ideally hold an RTITB or ITSAAR certificate of training.

Location

This role is based in Wisbech, PE13 and due to the hours of the shift own transport is essential as no public transport will be in operation.

Rate of Pay

This role is paid at an hourly rate of £14.26 per hour, with overtime paid at £21.39 per hour.
