Job summary

OneCall24 Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to support a young adult male with a learning disability in his home in Camborne, Cornwall. This night-shift role offers consistent hours and the opportunity to deliver person-centred care with family collaboration.

You will assist with daily living, personal care, nutritional needs and medications via gastrostomy, and provide oxygen therapy to maintain comfort and safety. Driving is required for all candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care for individuals with learning disabilities.
• Compassionate, reliable and able to work independently in a home setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Support nutritional needs and medications via gastrostomy port.
• Provide oxygen therapy to help maintain adequate oxygen saturation.
• Promote client dignity, comfort and well-being.
