Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Care Assistant - Nights at Camberley Heights Care Home in Camberley. You will deliver high standards of personal care and support the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents in a warm, caring environment.

We value compassion, respect and a team-oriented culture. A DBS disclosure check will be completed at Avery's expense, and eligibility to work in the UK must be demonstrated.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards the residents and other people in the home.
• Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
• Be able to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care and contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
• Assist residents in personal hygiene, maintaining dignity and independence.
• Recognise clinical risk areas (weight loss, pressure sores, falls, infections) and escalate risks promptly.
• Interact courteously with residents and visitors, respecting dignity and individuality; practice safe systems of work.
