Job summary

Culina Contract Logistics are hiring for a yard shunter to support trailer movements and yard safety in their busy UK operations. The role operates on a 4 on 4 off pattern with a night shift from 6pm to 6am.

The advertised hourly rate includes a shift allowance and a night shift allowance, with overtime paid at 1.5x after contracted hours. Applicants should have experience in yard shunting, a safety-focused mindset, and a valid Class 1 licence preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous yard shunting experience preferred.
• Safety-first approach in a live yard.
• Reliability and clear communication within a transport team.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers safely on/off loading bays during shift.
• Monitor yard movements and maintain safe operations.
• Operate a yard-based shunting vehicle.
• Ensure trailers are correctly loaded and positioned.
• Complete trailer checks and relevant documentation.
