Simply Jobsworth is seeking a Nights-Warehouse Supervisor to lead a busy Birmingham operation. The role requires hands-on leadership, FLT operation, and ensuring target-driven performance across warehouse activities.

The successful candidate will manage a team during night shifts, be organised, and capable of resolving day-to-day operational issues while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• We require a hands-on, organised supervisor with experience in busy warehouse operations.
• Experience leading a team and achieving daily targets is essential.
• A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is essential and a full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the smooth running of the warehouse during the shift.
• Supervise, motivate and coordinate the warehouse team to achieve daily targets.
• Allocate work to operatives and monitor performance throughout the shift.
• Lead by example with a hands-on approach to warehouse operations.
• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Move, store and account for goods safely within the warehouse.
• Oversee goods-in and goods-out activities and ensure stock is handled correctly.
• Check deliveries and outgoing goods for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Maintain stock records and support stock control and audits.
• Ensure paperwork and system records are completed accurately.
• Monitor productivity and address delays or issues promptly.
• Follow Health & Safety requirements and company procedures.
• Support training and induction of new staff.
• Collaborate with transport, production, purchasing and management teams.
