Absolute Sales is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on nightshift at the Darwen distribution centre. You will handle goods receipt, picking, packing and loading while operating a Counterbalance forklift and maintaining stock accuracy.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance FLT experience is essential.
• Experience in a busy warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety in a warehouse.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable and hardworking approach.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Able to undertake manual handling and physical warehouse work.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and unloading deliveries.
• Picking, packing and loading customer orders.
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely.
• Moving and storing stock within the warehouse.
• Carrying out stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Completing quality checks on goods.
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards.
• Following Health & Safety procedures.
• Support the wider warehouse team to ensure orders are dispatched on time.
