Qualifications

• Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with basic equipment repairs or troubleshooting.
• Strong materials handling skills and safe lifting techniques.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures and documentation.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work night shifts.
• Basic math for inventory counting and record keeping.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklift safely to load, unload, and move materials.
• Handle materials stacking, organisation, and stock movement.
• Assist with shipping/receiving and document goods properly.
• Perform basic equipment repairs or report maintenance needs.
• Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements.
• Conduct routine safety checks and follow health and safety rules.
• Support stock organisation to optimise warehouse space.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and cleanliness.
