Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking reliable Night Warehouse Operatives with Counterbalance Forklift experience to support night shift warehouse operations. You will pick and pack orders and operate a counterbalance forklift to load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include accurate order picking, forklift operation, stock movement, dispatch preparation with proper labeling and documentation, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace while

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in a busy warehouse environment.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and able to be on your feet for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack orders using pick lists.
• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift to load and unload vehicles.
• Move and store stock safely within the warehouse.
• Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring correct labelling and documentation.
• Carry out basic quality checks on picked items.
• Assist with general warehouse duties including stock handling and replenishment.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Follow all health & safety procedures at all times.
