able2achieve Ltd in Somerset/Devon services is seeking a Night Wake Learning Support Worker to assist learners with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and challenging behaviour in Chard.
You will perform night-time checks, follow care plans, maintain records, and travel regionally to provide safe, dignified, person-centred support while upholding safeguarding procedures.
The Night Wake Learning Support Worker supports learners with learning disabilities, mental health needs and/or challenging behaviour in Chard as part of able2achieve's Somerset and Devon services. The role helps learners feel safe, settled and supported overnight while maintaining dignity, privacy and person-centred support.
Responsibilities include completing agreed night-time checks, responding calmly to support needs, following care plans and risk assessments, maintaining accurate records, reporting concerns, following safeguarding procedures, supporting safe routines, and working collaboratively with colleagues to provide consistent care.
The successful candidate will demonstrate able2achieve's values, effective communication, teamwork, confidentiality, reliability during waking night shifts, willingness to complete mandatory training, understanding of care service delivery, appreciation of CQC requirements, and the ability to travel regionally as required.
This Night Wake role is based in Chard. Salary is £12.77 - £14.86 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
