Job summary

Coastway Vets - Brighton is seeking a Night Veterinary Surgeon to join our RCVS-accredited Brighton Veterinary Hospital. This part-time night role is focused on Emergency and Critical Care within a growing medicine and emergency team, handling a large caseload from our branches and subscribing practices.

You will work alongside a highly experienced Night Nurse and Animal Nursing Assistant, with sole charge on shifts and full ward handover to ensure optimal communication.

Qualifications

• Experienced veterinary surgeon with interest in Emergency and Critical Care.
• Able to work night shifts and be part of a busy team.
• Willing to contribute to learning and development in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Sole charge with full ward handover for clear communication.
• Night shift rota: 4 on 20 off, 7pm–9am.
• Work with Night Nurse and Animal Nursing Assistant.
• Opportunities to develop and cover holidays.
