Job summary

Gate Gourmet in the UK is seeking a Team Leader (Nights) to manage the night shift, assign teams and flights, and ensure on-time service for all flights. You will liaise with transport teams, monitor performance, and provide daily handovers to the day team, while driving continuous improvement and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires supervision experience, a valid HGV/C driving licence, tachograph knowledge, and a willingness to cover a 7-day operation.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience required.
• HGV CAT C driving licence with clean record.
• Digital tachograph knowledge and tachograph card required.
• Airport airside driving experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act is required.

Responsibilities

• Assign teams and vehicles to flight activity and maintain contact with teams to manage movements.
• Prioritise activities to ensure on-time service for night and day flights.
• Plan and manage rosters for transport teams (day and night).
• Conduct handovers to the day team with relevant information and vehicle allocations.
• Monitor performance and escalate concerns to the Duty Manager.
• Ensure delivery of business, section and customer targets.
