Job summary

Gist Limited is seeking a Transport Coordinator for Bristol Portbury on a night shift pattern (4 on 4 off, 6:00pm–6:00am). The role focuses on driver liaison, licence compliance, and cost/service optimisation to support timely deliveries of M&S products.

You will handle payroll-related tasks, scheduling, and export compliance while providing excellent customer service and resolving live issues with the Team Manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience of administration in a busy transport environment.
• Experience of working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for drivers, managing briefs, debriefs, and resolving queries effectively.
• Ensure legal O-licence compliance and deliver operational excellence across cost, service, and peak planning.
• Provide exceptional customer service, resolving and escalating live operational issues where required.
• Monitor route performance, ensuring timely delivery, processing supplier queries and escalating issues to the Team Manager when appropriate.
• Manage daily administrative tasks efficiently, including payroll, holidays, Kronos exceptions, and scheduling.
• Support admin and export, ensuring export compliance.
