Job summary

Elevate Supported Living in Long Eaton is seeking caring Therapeutic Adult Support Workers to join their expanding team. You will deliver person-centred, therapeutic support and help service users develop daily living skills.

The role offers full-time or part-time hours, with shifts such as 8:00pm–8:00am, and a focus on building independence, managing tenancies, and accessing education and employment. Applicants should have 6 months’ experience and a values-driven approach.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months’ recent experience in a relevant setting.
• Strong commitment to person-centred and values-based care.
• Compassionate, reliable and emotionally aware.
• Ability to communicate effectively with service users, families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred, therapeutic support tailored to individual needs.
• Promote independence by supporting daily living skills (ADLs) such as cooking, budgeting and personal care).
• Build trusting, respectful relationships that empower service users to make informed choices.
• Support individuals to maintain safe, stable tenancies and positive home environments.
• Enable access to education, employment and community opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with families, professionals and multi-agency partners.
• Maintain accurate, high-quality records in line with regulatory and organisational standards.
• Act as a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism and emotional resilience.
