Job summary

City Of Doncaster Council is seeking a dedicated Call Handler to join the HEART team in Doncaster. You will respond to telecare activations, take calls from a variety of individuals including the vulnerable, and coordinate with families, emergency services and the response team to achieve the best outcome.

The role is part-time (13.13 hours per week) with nights 10pm–6am on a 4 on/4 off rota, pro rata salary £26,403–£27,255, and a generous local government pension.

Qualifications

• The post requires someone with experience in helping & supporting individuals, with call handling experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take calls from telecare activations, vulnerable individuals and the public.
• Liaise with families, emergency services and the response team to ensure appropriate support.
• Work as part of the HEART team to provide timely assistance and information.
