Job summary

Shaw healthcare (Group) Ltd is seeking a passionate Residential Team Leader for Figbury Lodge in Poole. This role provides care for older people with physical frailty and dementia, with night shifts and a focus on person-centred care.

You will lead a team on night duty, ensure safe medication administration, and maintain up-to-date care plans. We offer employee ownership and development opportunities through Shaw Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Experience working with older people in residential care.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent) completed or in progress.
• Flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people.

Night Team Leader at Figbury Lodge

Salary: £15.19 per hour

Hours: 12 hour and 24 hour contracts available

Shift Times: 20:00-08:00 (includes alternative weekends)

Shaw healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Residential Team Leader who is ready to make a positive impact at Figbury Lodge in Poole. The purpose-built service provides residential and nursing care for older people with physical frailty, and for older people living with dementia.

Job Responsibilities

As a Residential Team Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of person-centred care and supporting your team to uphold those standards in everything they do. This will include, but not limited to:

• Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice
• Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures
• Report changes in residents needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation

Qualifications And Experience

• Experience working with older people in residential care
• You will have completed or working towards your NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social care (or equivalent)
• You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people
• Ability to lead a team and use own initiative
