Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Ware is seeking an experienced Non GxP Cleaning Supervisor to lead and develop a cleaning team while maintaining high service standards for our client.

You will oversee daily, planned and periodic cleaning tasks, ensure safety, quality and adherence to task schedules, and contribute to training, recruitment and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of supervising or leading a Non GxP cleaning team.
• Practical experience of delivering cleaning services within a professional working environment.
• Good communication and people-management skills, with the ability to support and develop colleagues.
• The ability to work to schedules, prioritise responsibilities and use your own initiative.
• An understanding of health and safety requirements, with experience of EHS and GMP procedures being advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day activities of the cleaning team, ensuring staff understand and work in accordance with their task schedules.
• Support the recruitment, induction, training and ongoing development of cleaning colleagues.
• Monitor cleaning standards and ensure all work complies with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures, rules and guidelines.
• Provide technical training when required and ensure the correct health and safety procedures are followed.
• Distribute uniforms, monitor the use of cleaning materials, maintain appropriate stock levels and order supplies when required.
• Resolve operational issues promptly and professionally, referring matters to the line manager where appropriate.
