Job summary

The Night Support Worker role at Kisimul Group supports young adults with complex needs in a supervised living environment. You will work nights, ensuring safety, dignity and person-centred care while building trusting relationships with residents.

You will participate in recreational activities, assist with practical tasks such as cooking and cleaning, and maintain clear records of behaviours, needs and progress to inform the team. A dedicated, compassionate approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in supporting young adults with complex needs.
• Ability to work night shifts and maintain high levels of safeguarding.
• Compassionate, patient, and able to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard young adults at all times.
• Participate in recreational events within home and wider community.
• Assist with practical tasks relating to care such as cooking and cleaning.
• Create positive relationships with the young adults, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
• Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young adults.
• Maintain accurate and clear record keeping.
• Ensure that needs of the young adults are met and regularly review and record changes to their needs.
• Actively contribute to the development of the team.

Due to our continued organisational growth and development opportunities for our current staff, we are recruiting for Night Support Workers to join our staff team.

About the position:

As a Night Support Worker, you will be key in supporting young adults with complex needs. We are looking for a dedicated and ambitious individual Night Support Workers who can offer complete commitment to supporting our young adults to fulfil their potential. This is a challenging role as a Night Support Worker but with huge rewards.

What will you be doing:

• Working with the staff team across all levels to safeguard our young adults at all times.
• Participating in a wide range of innovative and exciting recreational events held within the home and wider community.
• Assisting with practical tasks relating to care. For example, cooking and cleaning.
• Creating positive relationships with the young adults, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
• Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young adults.
• Continually maintaining accurate and clear record keeping.
• Ensuring that the needs of the young adults are being met and regularly reviewing and recording any changes to their needs.
• Actively contributing to the development of the team.
