Job summary

We Change Lives in Leicester is seeking a Night Support Worker to provide person-centred care for adults with complex needs in a supported living setting. The role focuses on resilience, empathy and safeguarding, with 30 hours per week at £12.71 per hour.

You will work under the Service Manager, support with daily living tasks, manage challenging behaviours using Positive Behaviour Support, and help residents achieve independence in a warm, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Desirable: A recognised health or social care qualification.
• Essential: Evidence of wanting to professionally develop.
• Desirable: Experience supporting people with disabilities, older people, dementia or mental health needs.
• Desirable: Experience working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke, person-centred care to residents.
• Provide personal care and support with complex behavioural needs.
• Follow support plans and Positive Behaviour Support approaches to promote positive outcomes.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety procedures.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families and staff.
