Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking experienced Support Workers for a night-shift role in a small respite care unit in the United Kingdom. The home supports up to 6 residents, mainly individuals with Autism and Learning Difficulties, and you will monitor residents, record sleep patterns and report issues using bespoke logging systems.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with Autism and Learning Difficulties is desirable but not essential.
• Empathetic, patient and motivated attitude towards care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.

Responsibilities

• Supporting clients with personal care, ensuring comfort, hygiene and dignity.
• Follow individual care and activity plans to meet physical and emotional needs.
• Complete logs and report accurately to maintain continuity of care.
• Work with the care team to perform night-time checks.
