Job summary

Shaw Healthcare's Cartref Care Home in Hay-on-Wye is seeking a caring Support Worker for night shifts (21:00–07:00). This role offers 20 hours per week at £13.67 per hour, with full training provided and ongoing development opportunities.

You will deliver person-centred care, assist with personal hygiene, maintain accurate records, promote dignity and inclusion, and work as part of a supportive team in a dementia-focused home.

Qualifications

• No experience required; values and behaviours matter.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care in line with an individual's care plan.
• Assist with bathing, dressing and hygiene.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluids/food intake, activities and incidents.
• Promote dignity, choice and inclusion.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team and support colleagues in day-to-day duties.
• Maintain a safe, happy, and caring environment.
