Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Wellington, United Kingdom, is seeking a compassionate Night Support Worker to help people gain more independence through overnight care, bedtime routines and regular welfare checks. You will join a welcoming team in a residential service with a hydrotherapy pool and sensory room, and you may be asked to perform light domestic duties during quieter hours.

No two days are the same, with training and career progression supported; DBS checks and references are required

Typical Shifts are: 20:30 - 08:00 working 3 shifts a week including alternate weekends

We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our residential service, set just off the main street in Wellington, is a beautiful home, set in lush green grounds. It has its own hydrotherapy pool and sensory room and has a welcoming and friendly environment. You can be sure that no two days will be the same! As a Night Support Worker, you’ll be enhancing the lives of people we support by assisting with bedtime routines, including personal care and completing regular checks throughout the night. You will also be expected to complete light domestic duties in any spare time.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should ideally hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress, mental health conditions, autism and people who have experienced trauma.
