Job description

We are looking for a confident Night Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

You'll be working 42 hours a week (Nights Only 19:30 - 08:30), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at The Fields.

The Fields is a specialist residential service in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, for adults with learning disabilities who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs.

We encourage and enable the individuals we support to lead full and happy lives. We work with them to ensure they have more choice and control. We find out their strengths, abilities, and preferences so that the care provided is as person-centred and meaningful as possible.

Your day-to-day

  1. Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all individuals in our care.
  2. Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
  3. Learn about individuals' specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
  4. Assist with medical and welfare needs.
  5. Report on medical and welfare needs as required.
  6. Safeguard the individuals in our care.
  7. Maintain a safe and clean environment for all.
