We are looking for Support Workers to join us at Cygnet Clynsaer, Cynghordy, Llandovery.

Cygnet Clynsaer is a specialist residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities, some of whom may have challenging behaviors and complex needs. We provide tailored care that promotes independence and community integration.

About The Role

Working in a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week service. You will work waking nights from 9 pm – 8 am, including some weekends.

Responsibilities include:

1. Provide compassionate, person-centred care, ensuring dignity and respect.
2. Support with personal care, hygiene, and daily activities.
3. Assist with meal preparation and encourage a nutritious diet.
4. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
5. Promote independence through supporting life skills such as budgeting and self-care.
6. Encourage participation in social and community activities.
7. Follow care plans, risk assessments, and behavior support guidelines.
8. Administer medication (post training) and ensure health and safety compliance.
9. Maintain accurate records and participate in handovers.
