Turning Point UK is looking for a Support Worker in Bradford to assist adults with learning disabilities. The role offers hands-on support and training opportunities while working in a dynamic environment. You will help enhance residents' living skills and ensure their daily needs are met.

Where will I be working?
Our services inThornton provide a 24 hour facilities in providing care for adults with Learning Disabilities and additional health issues.
This is very much a hands-on job where no two days are the same.
We are a group of 4 people with a learning disability who live together and have done so for a number of years. We all have individual interests but also like spending time together. We need support in order to take part in activities inside and outside of our home. At the moment we are hoping to have another 2 people who will come to live with us, once we find people who have similar interests and support needs.
Desirable but not essential – experience within the supported living/care sector.
Please note: in this service we support people with complex learning disabilities and there are high levels of personal care involved.
Training and Development
We offer training to all those who want to develop their skills and competencies not just in the care sector but in other areas too.
Please note training will be offered after your probation period ends which is 6 months. Once you begin your training with us you will have your own coach who will support you through your programme.

Salary £23,808 based on 37 hours, £28,995 based on 45 hours / £12.34 per hour
