Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living is seeking a Bank Night Project Worker to join our Ofsted-registered young people service in Canterbury. The role covers 106 Whitstable Road and surrounding area, with pay at £14.01 per hour and hours as required.

You will assess needs, support daily living tasks, advise on tenancy conditions, help with finances, and promote social inclusion while safeguarding responsibilities are met. This is a not-for-profit organisation reinvesting in people and services.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable people.
• Positive approach to supporting young people with varied needs.
• Strong interpersonal and customer care skills.
• Effective communication and ability to work on your own initiative.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and welfare benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs, update support plans, and signpost to education, training, and employment
• Support customers with daily living tasks such as cooking and cleaning
• Offer advice to help customers meet tenancy conditions
• Assist with managing finances and welfare benefits
• Promote social inclusion and help build confidence and resilience
• Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met
