Job summary

Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is seeking a Night Support and Progression Officer to join our London Accommodation Pathfinder service based in Barnet. The role delivers a pilot supported housing project for 16/17 year-olds, offering safeguarding and progression support within a dedicated team.

You’ll work late evenings and overnight on a rota, keeping Social Workers and Youth Justice colleagues up to date, and developing innovative ways to engage young people and help

• Excellent report writing and stakeholder communication.
• Flexible, team-based and committed to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a pilot supported housing project for 16/17 year-olds.
• Work late evenings and overnight on a rota to support safeguarding.
• Keep Social Workers and Youth Justice colleagues updated on progress.
• Create and deliver innovative engagement techniques for court orders.
• Work within a coordinated staff team to achieve positive outcomes.
