As Night Supervisor, you will be responsible for training and inspiring a passionate night team to deliver an inspirational guest experience.

  • Acts as a Duty Manager and as the main point of contact for the Hotel during the night in the absence of the Night Manager.
  • Handle walk-in guests, guest concerns and resolve any problems during their stay.
  • Deals with any incidents arising throughout the shift and ensures they are reported and escalated to the necessary people and departments as needed.
  • Prepares night audit reports as required.
  • Supervises and leads the team in all departments of the hotel throughout the night shift.
  • Deals with any issues as they arise and ensures the team are engaged and supported as they achieve their departmental goals.
  • Supports with the arrival and departure experience of guests and ensures that high levels of guest service are maintained throughout.
  • Ensures all Company health & safety and other requirements are met consistently and that the team is aware of their obligations.
  • Managing all food and beverage service aspects during the night.
  • Work with the nights team in the setup of the daily meetings and event rooms.
  • Supporting the Front of House with team training, recruitment and operational feedback.

Skills and Experience required:

  • *Previous hotel reception experience is required and essential to be considered for this role*
  • Operational knowledge of Night Audit/Reception procedures & working knowledge of Opera PMS.
  • An effective communicator who is able to work well under pressure whilst maintaining positive and productive working relationships across the business, building a rapport with guests in a range of situations.
  • A leader who is passionate about engaging, inspiring and developing their team.
  • A working understanding of compliance requirements in regards to Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Liquor Licensing.
  • Someone who enjoys working in fast paced environment.
