Job summary

Leonardo Royal Hotel Bristol is seeking a Night Supervisor to help run the overnight operation. You'll work with the Night Manager and Front Office team to maintain exceptional guest service, safety and hotel standards.

You will supervise the night shift, handle guest enquiries, carry out the night audit, and ensure accurate financial reporting. A hands-on approach and strong problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel reception or night operations, ideally at supervisory level.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Confidence working independently and making decisions when required.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• A flexible, proactive and hands‑on approach, with a willingness to support all aspects of the night operation.
• Experience with a hotel property management system; knowledge of Opera Cloud would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overnight operation with the Night Manager and Front Office Management team.
• Carry out the night audit, reconcile daily transactions and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Confidently handle guest enquiries, requests and complaints, providing effective solutions.
• Support and guide Night Team colleagues, encouraging teamwork and maintaining high operational standards.
• Assist with guest arrivals and departures, ensuring a warm welcome and professional service.
• Work with the Night Porter to support room service, cleaning duties and upkeep of public areas.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
• Ensure a thorough handover to the morning team, highlighting important information and outstanding matters.

Night Supervisor – Leonardo Royal Hotel Bristol

As a Night Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our hotel overnight. Working closely with the Night Manager and Front Office Management team, you'll help maintain exceptional guest service, operational standards and the safety and security of our guests and colleagues. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two nights are the same! We're looking for someone who is confident, organised, hands‑on and able to take ownership of the operation while creating a welcoming environment for our guests.

• Ensure a thorough handover to the morning team, highlighting important information and outstanding matters.
