Platinum-Recruitment in Hayling Island, Portsmouth, is seeking a Night Supervisor to lead the overnight operation at our coastal resort. You will manage the hotel during the night, ensure safety, and deliver a memorable guest experience.

The role offers a permanent contract, 32–40 hours per week, night shifts from 10:30pm to 7:00am, and a range of benefits including holiday entitlement, staff meals, parking and a pension.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Night Supervisor or similar hotel role.
• Strong leadership and guest service focus.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work a Monday to Sunday night rota.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overnight operation, ensuring the hotel runs smoothly and safely throughout the night.
• Inspire and support the night team to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Welcome guests, oversee late check-ins and early departures, and handle guest enquiries.
• Carry out security checks and maintain a safe environment for guests and colleagues.
• Resolve guest issues confidently and professionally.
• Complete the night audit and overnight reporting accurately.
• Ensure public areas remain clean, presentable and guest-ready.
• Prepare the hotel for the following day's operations.
• Work closely with other departments to maintain exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities

What we're looking for

The idealNight Supervisorwill have:

• The confidence to make decisions and work independently
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Knowledge of the Guestlinesystem is preferred but not essential
• Flexibility to work a Monday to Sunday night rota
