Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property is recruiting a Night Site Manager / SMSTS Supervisor for a highway and civils package near Chicklade, Wiltshire. You will act as the Principal Contractor's on-site representative during night operations, ensuring safety, RAMS and traffic management are strictly followed.

The role requires managing civil engineering, highways or utility schemes under CDM 2015 from a Principal Contractor perspective, coordinating multiple subcontractors, and maintaining shift logs

Qualifications

• SMSTS, Valid CSCS Card and First Aid at Work are essential.
• Proven background in civil engineering, highways or utility schemes.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site manager for night operations on behalf of the client/Principal Contractor.
• Enforce site safety compliance, RAMS and traffic management standards.
• Coordinate activities between highways and utility subcontractors on site.
• Lead shift start/end briefings, site handovers and emergency response procedures when needed.
• Maintain accurate shift logs and report to senior project management.
