Job summary

Stagecoach Lincoln Depot in Lincoln is seeking a hands-on Bus Shunter / Vehicle Cleaner / Bus Wash Operative. The role covers fueling, washing, parking, and cleaning a fleet of around 85 vehicles.

You’ll work 20 hours across 5 days with some late shifts (7pm–12am). A UK driving licence is desirable, and PCV licences are encouraged. The company offers full training and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence is desirable.
• PCV licence holders are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Fueling buses as they return to the depot after service.
• Washing and cleaning the exterior of vehicles to maintain high presentation standards.
• Operating exterior vehicle wash.
• Safely parking and shunting buses around the depot.
• Sweeping and cleaning vehicle interiors.
• Carrying out interior, exterior, engine bay, and under‑chassis cleaning of company vehicles.
• Cleaning depot facilities, including offices, workshops, welfare areas, and other operational spaces.
• Completing and maintaining accurate records, including fuel records, cleaning schedules, and vehicle information.
• Carrying out regular checks on cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Following all Stagecoach safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
