Job summary

DSV is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the night shift at Thrapston, 5 days out of 7 from 22:00 to 06:00. You will oversee a team of operators, ensure on-time deliveries, and drive health and safety and KPI performance within the contract.

Key duties include managing day-to-day warehouse operations, meeting customer requirements, and providing first-line support for issues while promoting DSV best practices across departments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within logistics.
• Exceptional organisation skills and effective time management.
• Possess good communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• IT Literate in Microsoft Office.
• Problem solving.
• Understanding of CargoWrite is desired, however training can be given.

Responsibilities

• Day to day responsibility for the running of the contract in a customer service capacity.
• Meet the customer’s operational requirements.
• Ensure deliveries are made on time in full.
• First line support for customer and DSV to ensure that all issues are proactively handled.
• Support colleagues within all departments in providing an enhanced service to customers whilst maintaining and promoting DSV best practices.
• Responsible for the completion/population of location KPI's as well as being responsible for Customer invoicing processes.
