The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of a Parcel Courier client in Barnsley for a Warehouse Operative on the 10pm-6am shift. Roles are full time or part time, with ongoing work and potential permanent placement for the right candidate.

You will sort parcels, operate conveyors and scanners, ensure correct labelling, and work with colleagues to maintain a smooth workflow while meeting deadlines. Safety and efficiency are priorities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sort and organise incoming parcels based on routes and destinations.
• Operate conveyor belts, scanners, and other equipment to facilitate sorting.
• Label and categorise parcels to prevent delivery errors.
• Collaborate with team to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
• Identify damaged parcels and follow handling procedures.
• Assist in loading/unloading delivery vehicles and optimise space.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow company policies.
