Job summary

Fowler Welch is recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader for nights in our Worcester area. The role is based in a chilled warehouse (2–4°C) with a Sunday to Wednesday? No, Wednesday to Saturday nights, 18:00–06:00. You’ll lead a team, drive productivity, and ensure loading accuracy and service standards.

The successful candidate will have warehouse experience, a track record of leading teams, and confidence with IT systems and MHE. Benefits include a competitive pension and recognition schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse operation.
• Experience in a chilled environment is advantageous.
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the warehouse team to high standards.
• Meet despatch deadlines, KPIs and loading accuracy.
• Coordinate training and ensure compliance (FLT, PPT, manual handling).
• Enforce health and safety procedures and report hazards.
• Maintain hygiene, temperature checks and HACCP compliance.
• Control activity via outbound load plans and identify improvements.
• Manage holiday approvals, shift cover and timesheets.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships for efficient service.
