Bidfood UK is hiring a Night Warehouse Operative to support night-time order preparation across ambient, chilled and frozen environments. You’ll pick customer orders using barcode scanning, load vehicles and ensure accurate, timely deliveries for the next day.

Qualifications

• Experience using barcode scanning technology.
• Experience with voice picking technology is beneficial but not essential.
• Warehouse or multi-temperature experience is helpful, but not essential.
• Good level of physical fitness for an active role.
• Reliability and flexibility to work evening and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders accurately using barcode scanning technology.
• Loading vehicles ready for delivery.
• Organising and storing products safely and correctly.
• Using warehouse equipment safely, with full training provided.
• Moving stock using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and forklifts.
• Supporting colleagues to keep the warehouse running efficiently overnight.
• Helping ensure drivers leave on schedule with complete and accurate orders.
