Job summary

Lanes Group plc in the UK invites applications for a Vacuum Tanker Driver based in Leeds, covering the Yorkshire region. This role sits within Yorkshire Water Tankering, part of our wastewater and environmental services.

You'll operate a vacuum tanker on 4 on, 4 off nights, collect and dispose of non-hazardous liquids, and keep accurate electronic records. Full training is provided, and overtime is paid at 1.5x for over‑time hours.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Desirable CPC qualification.
• Experience with tankers is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Independently driving and operating a vacuum tanker to collect and transport non-hazardous liquids across Leeds and Yorkshire.
• Move treated and untreated waste and assist with remedial works as required.
• Liaise with customers and update electronic records accurately.
• Ensure safety issues are reported and routine vehicle/jetting checks are performed.
