Job summary

Concept Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking a Night Transport Co-ordinator to support the safe, efficient and disruption-free operation of transport and shunting activities. The role runs from 10:00pm to 6:00am and involves coordinating trailer movements, monitoring vehicle locations and ensuring resources are positioned properly for production and warehouse needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics, yard operations or shunting environments.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions during a night shift.
• Good communication skills with drivers, warehouse teams and site management.
• Experience with trailer movements or yard management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport and shunting during the night shift.
• Plan and prioritise trailer movements to ensure availability.
• Monitor trailer locations and vehicle movements across the site.
• Ensure sufficient empty trailers to support operations.
• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to prevent delays.
• Support the on-site shunting team to work safely and efficiently.
• Maintain awareness of operational priorities and respond to changes.
• Complete transport administration and records.
• Ensure transport activities comply with site health and safety procedures.
