Job summary

Lineage Logistics is hiring a Transport Operator for our site in Hams Hall, United Kingdom. The role covers monitoring daily transport operations, driver compliance and performance, and liaising with depots and delivery points. Night shift pattern 4 on 4 off (18:00-06:00) with a total annual salary of £30,802.20.

The successful candidate will manage driver hours, use the planning system, and handle delivery issues, GRRS, and invoicing while maintaining strong IT and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous Transport experience.
• Experience in managing drivers hours/legislation.
• Willingness to learn Transport Management systems and take initiative.
• Strong IT skills including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Demonstrated communication and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the day-to-day transport operations for the site.
• Ensure fleet safety and compliance for drivers and vehicles.
• Manage driver performance and liaise with depots and delivery points.
• Assign drivers and vehicles using the transport planning system.
• Debrief drivers and handle delivery issues like rejections and damages.
• Create GRRS for delivery issues and manage breakdowns.
• Oversee stock allocation, invoicing and status reporting.
