Job summary

Culina Group Limited is seeking a Transport Coordinator to join our Contract Logistics division on a full-time permanent basis in the United Kingdom. The role involves planning driver and vehicle resources to achieve on-time deliveries while complying with WTD and drivers’ hours regulations.

The position offers a salary of £31,986 per year plus a £1,000 night shift allowance. Working hours are 4 on 4 off nights, 6pm-6am, across our network of locations.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge and experience of tachograph/driving rules and regulations.
• Planning and organising skills to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills to deliver accurate information.
• Good IT skills including MS Office with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.
• High level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and update daily run summaries to meet delivery/collection deadlines.
• Ensure service levels are achieved in coordination with other departments.
• Plan runs using the Driver rota considering holidays and sickness.
• Ensure legal compliance regarding defects, MOTs, etc.
• Maintain clear communication with drivers, including start times and load info.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and legal requirements.
• Assist with disciplinary hearings and return-to-work procedures as needed.
