Joining our Depot Management Team, you will work alongside the Night Shift Manager supporting the Depot. This is a key role ensuring the smooth running of the night operation, leading teams of Night Loaders, Sorters, and Drivers processing parcels for delivery to the final customer.

Our Night Supervisor position is for someone who understands how to motivate staff and can efficiently prioritize pressing needs, especially when solutions aren’t obvious. Lateral and original thinking would be beneficial, as would logistics experience, but we are open to experience gained in other related fields. You must be able to work collaboratively and take the lead on projects among your peers.

The Night Shift Supervisor is a night-based role, with shift start and finish times that may vary, although core hours are 11 pm to 8 am, depending on volumes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

1. Manage a team of up to 50 direct reports, providing leadership and direction for the shift
2. Develop and train reports and ensure SLA’s are met for the Night shift
3. Ensure compliance with all site HSES rules and regulations
4. Process BI and MI reports based on work output of Drivers and Loaders
5. Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

1. Management experience of leading and managing a team
2. Experience managing teams in a fast-paced logistics environment is highly advantageous
3. Ability to work independently in a pressured environment with tight deadlines
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
5. Understanding of Transport regulations is preferred
