Job summary

Think Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Working Site Manager for a night shift role in Gloucestershire, managing a small team on site at retail refurbishments. You will take lead on health and safety, site checks, and paperwork while keeping the works on track and maintaining high standards.

You should be ready to use your own tools and work closely with the Joiner and Labourer throughout the night shift. The role requires prior site management experience, a valid SMSTS, and a practical,

Qualifications

• Has previous Site Management experience.
• Holds a valid SMSTS.
• Has experience in shopfitting, retail fit-out or refurbishment.
• Is hands-on and competent on the tools.
• Is happy to bring their own tools to site.
• Enjoys working alongside trades rather than simply supervising.
• Can confidently manage a small team.
• Is organised, reliable and proactive.
• Is comfortable working Sunday-Thursday nights.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the site during the night shift.
• Manage Health & Safety and ensure all site procedures are followed.
• Complete site checks, inductions and relevant paperwork.
• Manage and coordinate the Joiner and Labourer on site.
• Ensure the project stays on programme.
• Keep the site clean, safe and organised.
• Work alongside the Joiner and Labourer and help with the refurbishment works.
• Bring your own tools and be prepared to get stuck in when required.
• Help ensure the store is completed to a high standard and ready for handover.
