Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for night shifts at Wykebeck Court in Leeds. You will lead a unit, support with clinical duties, observe and review care plans, and manage handovers for a team of Care Assistants.

You will build relationships with residents, families and external teams. We provide training on digital care and ongoing development, with a strong emphasis on compassionate, person-centred care.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in care or working towards it.
• Motivated, positive with strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience in running a unit and supporting clinical duties.

Responsibilities

• Run a care unit on night shifts.
• Support with clinical duties, observe, administer medications, review care plans, ensure accurate records.
• Lead and handover shifts for the Care Assistants team.
• Train and supervise new staff, welcome and support them.
• Build relationships with residents, families and external teams.
