Gillespie Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to lead the night shift in Teesside. You will safeguard residents' welfare, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care while administering medications in line with policy.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Level 3 Medication qualification.
• Previous experience in a Senior Care Assistant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of medication management.
• Knowledge of CQC standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• A caring, compassionate, and professional approach.
• Passion for delivering exceptional care and improving lives.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting the care team during night shifts.
• Ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, person-centred care.
• Administering medication in line with policies and procedures.
• Maintaining accurate care plans and care records.
• Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Monitoring wellbeing and responding appropriately to changing needs.
