Job summary

Amica Care Trust is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts in Plymouth to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for residents while upholding clinical standards.

You will lead shifts, develop care plans, ensure safe medication administration and work with support staff to maintain a respectful, safe living environment. Applicants must hold current NMC registration and have knowledge of DoLs/MCA.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration with up-to-date clinical practices.
• Understanding of DoLs/MCA
• Person-centred approach; effective communicator; positive attitude; passion for nursing.

Responsibilities

• Look after the physical, psychological and social needs of residents.
• Provide a safe and supportive environment and exercise clinical judgement for residents with varied physical and mental needs.
• Develop care plans and ensure safe administration of medications.
• Lead shifts and inspire a team of Health Care Assistants and Care Assistants.
