Job summary
SkyCare in Southwell, Nottinghamshire, is recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse to join our 82-bed residential care home. You will deliver compassionate, person-centred care to older residents in a purpose-built setting, with induction and ongoing professional development.
You will assess health needs, develop care plans, administer medications, and supervise junior staff while maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse with care home experience
- Valid UK NMC PIN (no restrictions)
- Ability to work on shift/rota
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Kind and caring approach with a passion for residents' care
- Experience in motivating junior staff
- Clear DBS and 2 satisfactory references
Responsibilities
- Assess health problems and develop nursing care plans and maintain records
- Administer nursing care to residents and monitor condition
- Dispense and administer medications as prescribed
- Lead, support and train junior staff
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, COSHH and care standards
