Job summary

SkyCare in Southwell, Nottinghamshire, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our residential care home. You'll work night shifts (8pm–8am) on a permanent full-time contract, delivering high-quality, compassionate care to older residents and supporting the team.

You must hold a valid UK NMC PIN, have care home experience, and be able to work in a fast-paced, respectful environment with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with care home experience for older people.
• Hold a valid UK NMC PIN (no restrictions).
• Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess health problems, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.
• Administer nursing care to residents as prescribed.
• Dispense and administer medication accurately and maintain records.
• Support and guide junior staff.
• Continual personal development and training.
