Job summary

Shaw Healthcare in Wales is recruiting a Residential Team Leader for Llwyn Teg in Llanfyllin to guide a dedicated care team in delivering compassionate, person-centred care to older residents.

You will lead by example, promote best practices, and ensure safe medication administration, accurate documentation and ongoing health monitoring while fostering strong relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
• Experience leading or mentoring colleagues or stepping into a leadership role.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Caring, patient and positive attitude.
• Experience in residential care for older people.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support the care team to deliver person-centred care.
• Promote best practice at all times.
• Safely administer and record medication per policies.
• Monitor residents' health and wellbeing and report concerns promptly.
• Build positive relationships with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate care plans and documentation.
