Job summary

Bupa Oak Lodge Night Nurse position in Bitterne/Southampton requires a Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin. You will lead the night shift, monitor residents, administer medications and coach a care team to maintain high clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and current registration.
• Experience in care home settings is preferred.
• Comfortable leading a team and supporting colleagues at night.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for residents' physical, emotional and social wellbeing.
• Coach and guide the care team, with formal and informal teaching.
• Assess, develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.
• Monitor areas for safety and compliance with standards and policies.
• Administer and order medications; support handovers to the team.
